where is it? about 3 hours drive
north west of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

The Bunya Mountains is home to the largest forest of Bunya Pines in the world.
This National Park has many walks of different degrees of difficulty.
This park is known about by the locals but not to most international toursists/backpackers..
a great place to enjoy what should be world heritage listed forest in relative solitude

cones are produced once every three years, were a rich source of food for Aborigines who celebrated with feasts
