The truck company was originally formed in Evansville, Indiana in 1919 by Joe, Bob and Ray Graham.

the company eventually surpassed Dodge in truck production
 and became the second-largest producer in the country, second to only General Motors.

In 192In 1924 , the Graham brothers' truck operation was bought out by Dodge,
which gradually moved production to Detroit
